A Damping Control for DC Distribution System Under Isolated Operation Mode

Abstract There are risks of resonant instability exiting in the DC distribution system configured with battery energy storage devices because capacitors and inductors network fast speed-controlled DC-DC converters. The needs to provide voltage support when it operates an isolated island mode no AC or sources at that moment. To explore key factors affecting network, a three-terminal consisting control, constant current power load is used for state space modeling. Research results show faults limitation interacting under high main reason causing instability. other large parameter controller. suppress system, damping control strategy by filtering advance loop proposed, parameters selected using roots locus method. Simulations verify correctness effectiveness proposed
